Our ACD Tune works by adjusting the torque split between the front and rear differentials. The delicate interplay between the differentials allows us to manipulate handling characteristics. We can alter the way the car responds on the street and track in specific scenarios, whether it’s braking on loose surfaces, turn-in response during cornering, and we can even modify the level of under-steer upon corner entry/exit.

From a technical perspective, the center differential is basically a limited slip differential with an adjustable preload. The preload is determined by the pressure of fluid in the center differential. By regulating solenoid current, our tune allows us to control the fluid pressure. As you increase fluid pressure the preload increases proportionately, as more torque is required to slip the differential, and vice versa.

ACD Removal is simple:

1. The ACD Unit is located on the passenger side. Start by removing the glovebox to gain visual access.

3. Finally, locate the ACD Unit, unplug it, and remove the 10mm bolt holding it in place.
